Hey nice design 
& I like the concept of the dragon could be one with the wand. Though I think you could (smartly) put some design element on the wand to show it's size, like maybe an integrated hand grip ( I bet you could think a better idea . Because I thought at first that is a more than 1 meter magic staff (not a magic wand) with a baby dragon, but your design as a wand is actually a better concept.
